About the Role

The Electrophysiology Field Clinical Specialist will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, laboratory staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe use of the products in Boston Scientific's Electrophysiology portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serves as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system, and software development.
  • Educates customers and internal Boston Scientific employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of Boston Scientific devices by giving presentations and demonstrations.
  • Attends cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support and development efforts of Boston Scientific devices and their components.
  • Provides initial and continuous, as needed, training and feedback for development team and sales representatives on Boston Scientific's product development process, products and features.
  • Meets with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals.
  • Develops relationships with hospital personnel to make new contacts in other departments within hospitals and to identify key decision makers to facilitate future sales.
  • Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
Requirements:
  • Graduated or graduating with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Cardiovascular Perfusion or similar.
  • Based in Lombardia.
  • Knowledge of electrophysiology and/or Cardiology would be a plus.
  • Professional industry experience in a similar role is beneficial, however not a required for the role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical and clinical details.
  • Professional working proficiency language skills in both Italian and English.
  • Able to rapidly adapt to a very dynamic marketplace.
  • Strong team player, collaborative, ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally.
  • Self-motivated and able to influence others.
  • Flexible, adaptable but focused and persistent.
  • Willing and able to travel extensively as required by workload.
