Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Operations Manager to oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger Accounting.

This role involves collaborating with the internal sales team to manage customer billing, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for monthly IAS closures and annual financial statements for group consolidation, as well as quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and monthly intercompany reconciliations.

In addition, the candidate will need to ensure compliance with VAT and fiscal regulations in Italy and Switzerland, overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax obligations with external consultants.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in a similar role within a small to medium-sized company, preferably a part of a big group.

A strong knowledge of Italian GAAP, IFRS, and IAS regulations is essential, along with experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and intercompany reconciliations.

Knowledge of Italian labor law and Payroll Management, as well as familiarity with local and international taxation frameworks, including VAT, are also required.

The successful candidate will be proficient in Excel and SAP S/4HANA, with knowledge of other accounting and reporting tools being an advantage.

Proven team management skills, with the ability to lead and develop a small team, are essential, as is an empathetic and diplomatic approach to build consensus and drive ideas forward smoothly.

Business fluency in English is required, with good knowledge of German or French being an advantage.
