Position Overview

eTeam Inc is seeking a dedicated and experienced Automation Quality Assurance Specialist with a solid foundation in manual testing. The ideal candidate will possess a keen ability to adapt to new technologies, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record in developing automated tests and frameworks for intricate projects.

Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Create and uphold automated testing protocols in accordance with established test plans, while also adapting to new features and defect investigations.
  • Document comprehensive test plans, test cases, and other relevant testing methodologies.
  • Execute test cases, identify product defects, and meticulously report testing outcomes.
  • Engage in collaborative discussions with cross-functional teams via email and group projects.

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in automating iOS applications, with a strong preference for proficiency in Python and XCUI.
  • At least 5 years' experience in testing mobile applications, particularly on iOS platforms.
  • A proactive mindset, requiring minimal supervision.
  • The capability to define, execute, and automate extensive test suites even in the absence of detailed specifications.
  • Experience collaborating directly with Software Engineering, Project Management, and other cross-functional teams to establish acceptance criteria and report on quality metrics.
  • A proven ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple concurrent product and feature releases.
  • Familiarity with UNIX-based systems for debugging and analysis.
  • A creative approach to problem-solving and a strong passion for maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Having a background or interest in health-related fields is advantageous. Previous experience in automating and testing iOS/macOS software and devices will be considered a plus.
