We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Safety Specialist to join our team at Bertrandt AG. As a leading technology partner in the automotive, aerospace, and mechanical engineering sectors, we focus on the trends of digitalization, autonomous systems, connectivity, and electric mobility.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze potential safety risks and hazards in vehicle systems;
- Develop and enforce safety requirements and processes;
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety measures into projects;
- Conduct safety assessments and audits;
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations;
- Plan the safety-related activities of the various development phases and create a safety plan;
- Coordinate activities, milestones, and interfaces with project management;
- Coordinate and realize the implementation of analyses FMEA, FTA, DFA, FMEDA;
- Participate in meetings with customers and suppliers.
- Knowledge of project management methods and analyses;
- Experience in the application of systems (e.g., steering / axle / transmission systems);
- Technology experience (electronics, software, mechatronics, etc.);
- Experience regarding the functional safety of the applied technology;
- Knowledge of the relevant standards and laws (ISO 26262);
- Communication skills and ability to work in a team;
- Fluent English skills are a must (German is a plus).
