Role Summary
The Risk Management Specialist will be responsible for analyzing operational risk data and assessing the effectiveness of second-level controls. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to make recommendations for improvement and track progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform second-level control reviews on a sample basis to assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls.
- Make recommendations to improve the quality of first-level control frameworks.
- Ensure the implementation of recommendations and track progress.
- Provide a second-level control assessment rating.
- Review and challenge the robustness of first-level controls.
- Consolidate and provide an independent opinion on the control framework.
- Track and report progress on raised actions.
Requirements
- Graduate with a Master's degree in Finance or Economics from an Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance/Banking.
- Previous experience in Risk Management is preferred.
- Fluent in English.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
