Our Mission
  • We actively track and analyze relevant legislation and policy proposals impacting solar PV and storage.
  • We work with central teams to develop policy positions and lead policy and regulatory changes to support our company's mission.
  • We develop and implement advocacy strategies, coordinating with local needs and pre-agreed positions, including securing meetings and regular interaction with public and private stakeholders.
  • We support the business team in developing new business opportunities in the region, ensuring excellent connections between our company, grid operators, and public institutions.
  • We build our company's reputation as a solar leader and raise the profile of local teams by creating engaging content. We prepare executive briefing documents for both internal and external audiences.
  • We leverage on and lead our company's participation in trade associations and building coalitions within the energy and renewable sectors. We manage the work of external resources such as consultants or agencies.


Knowledge and Skills

  • We require knowledge and understanding of the solar and renewables sector.
  • We are committed to working in a fast-paced environment with geographically diverse, global colleagues.
  • We need the ability to adapt and work in a different cultural environment, both operational and office-based.
  • We require demonstrated skills working with leadership; ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
  • We need a university degree in economics, law, engineering, or a related field.
  • We require native Italian and good English language skills.
Experience

We are looking for candidates with previous experience in renewables/solar energy in energy policy, consultancy, government affairs positions, strategic communication, or public authorities.

  • We require a proven track record of getting regulatory changes and implementation, successful interactions with policymakers, including ability to define, strategize, communicate, and deliver against business objectives.
  • We need an established network of contacts in the sector and in public administration.


Personal Qualities

  • We are looking for a team player and collaborator, able to translate global and regional goals and ambitions into effective localized communication and advocacy strategies.
  • We require excellent reporting, writing, and presentation skills, and strong attention to detail. Ability to digest and summarize complex policy and legal issues.
  • We need effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • We require the ability to handle complex and highly ambiguous scopes of work, while effectively and efficiently prioritizing work with minimal required supervision.
