Job Summary

We're seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead to contribute to and direct the efforts of our development teams. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, modifying, implementing, and supporting software components
  • Contributing to the ongoing evolution of our existing portfolio of solutions and services
  • Determining root cause for complex software issues and developing practical solutions
  • Remaining current on new technologies and evaluating their suitability for our projects
  • Assisting in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing
  • Mentoring Software Engineers to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Determining process improvements and best practices

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in one or more programming paradigms (Object-oriented, Concurrent, Functional, Asynchronous)
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages and related ecosystems (Java, C++,.NET, JavaScript, Typescript)
  • Experience with ATDD and TDD tools and practices
  • Experience with CI tools and best practices
  • Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Docker, AWS, and IDEs
  • Experience in dealing with complexity of large distributed systems
  • Experience in deeply understanding functional requirements
  • Experience in dealing with non-functional requirements and their impact on architectures and system design
  • 10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • Proven experience in working in Agile, globally distributed development organizations
  • Proven experience in influencing and coaching teammates on methodologies, practices, and technologies

Preferred Qualifications

A PhD or an MSc in Computer Engineering/Science from a top-ranked university is preferred.

Contract Type

This is a full-time, permanent position.
