The Role

The Credit Risk Assessment Team operates within the First Line of Defence, focusing on the evaluation of new clients seeking our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and align counterparty risks with company policies and financial structures.
  • Collaborate with business units to define and enhance relevant procedures, ensuring their implementation and effectiveness in risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards during the client evaluation process.
  • Develop and implement models and methodologies for comprehensive risk assessment.
  • Communicate evaluation findings to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Classify risk positions within the managed portfolio according to internal regulations.
  • Enhance tools and methods for client onboarding and evaluation, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Conduct operational controls as per established regulations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external parties to gather accurate information for evaluations.
  • Support system maintenance and contribute to process efficiency improvements.

Daily Tasks

  • Evaluate new clients, gathering necessary information and documentation.
  • Analyze clients' financial data based on established criteria.
  • Assess additional services required by clients.
  • Engage in reporting activities.
  • Support back-office operations.
