Key Responsibilities

  1. Formulate financial and budgetary policy: Develop and implement effective financial policies and procedures to support the Centre's strategic objectives.
  2. Manage the budget: Oversee the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the Centre's budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  3. Ensure compliance with financial regulations: Verify that all financial transactions comply with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
  4. Represent the Centre: Act as the Centre's representative in financial matters, including interactions with external stakeholders such as donors, partners and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

  • Expertise in financial management: Proven experience in financial management, accounting and auditing, preferably with a background in international financial operations.
  • Leadership skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Language proficiency: Excellent knowledge of English; working knowledge of French is an asset.

Benefits and Salary

  • Salary: Grade P5, with a salary range of US$ 101,540 to US$ 124,450 per year.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including pension and health insurance schemes, annual leave, assignment grant, home-leave travel and privileges and immunities.
