Account Director - Sales

A unique opportunity to drive revenue growth and develop key feeder markets for Armani Hotel Milano. We are seeking a talented sales professional with a strong background in MICE, Corporate, and Entertainment to further expand our client base in the UK and key European countries.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute account plans to increase client base and generate revenue for the hotel.
  • Collaborate with the DOSM to create a corporate rate strategy for local accounts and RFPs for volume accounts.
  • Qualify group business to generate rooms and catering revenue and impact RevPar performance.
  • Track and focus on conversion to ensure hotel revenue objectives are achieved.
  • Understand and maximize the utilization of automated sales and reservations systems (Opera) involved with group business.
  • Participate in sales & revenue meetings and strategy meetings as required.
  • Respond and maintain effective correspondence with all potential and existing clients.
  • Produce and execute quarterly and annual action plans.
  • Contribute to the annual Marketing Plan, including proposing and managing territory sales expenses and travel budgets.

Qualifications and Expertise:
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in Europe.
  • Applicants are required to have at least three to five years in a Sales Manager role or Sales Cluster experience.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and strong decision-making abilities.

Creative and innovative approach to sales activities. Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English (and Italian preferred). Working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Opera.

This position is based at the Armani Hotel Milano and the contract is fixed term. The candidate must have a flexible schedule and must possess the legal right to work in Italy. Must be fluent in Italian and in English.
