Proposition Management Search is seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Laboratory Manager to join our client's Technical R&D Unit in South Piedmont, Italy.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient execution of all laboratory tests, proposing solutions to improve product performance, and revising semi-finished products to enhance quality and reduce costs.
Main Responsibilities:- Ensure laboratory analysis, tests, and research in projects aimed at controlling and improving products, supporting decision-making processes.
- Analyze products developed or used by competitors.
- Ensure sampling for tastings, sensory analysis, and taste tests, supporting decision-making processes.
- Develop and maintain analysis databases and compile statistics.
- Oversee the technological evolution of new laboratory equipment and evaluate its advantages.
- Manage people assigned, ensuring a management system based on group values, motivation, competence development, and empowerment.
- MS or PhD degree in Food Engineering, Nutrition, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or equivalent.
- 15+ years of experience in a R&D Lab within multinational FMCG companies.
- Strong skills with MS Office, especially Powerpoint and Excel.
- English professional proficiency required, any other language is a plus.
