Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our finance team at Shimano. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely bookings of supplier cost invoices
  • Match purchase vouchers (goods) and generate financial statements and reports detailing accounting statuses
  • Organize a transparent set-up of administration, files, and information
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to verify discrepancies, resolve billing issues, and chase payments
  • Cash Receipt review and posting
  • Treat and process all incoming orders, and adjust where needed, in line with obtaining a well-organized up-to-date order file

Requirements

  • Ragioneria level education in accounting/administration
  • 1-2 years of experience in a financial department with a focus on accounts payable and receivables
  • Import process knowledge will be considered a plus
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good communicator in Italian and English, both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge and experience in Office (Excel) and ERP-systems (preferably JD Edwards Enterprise One)
  • Experience in working within an international company is a plus
