Your Role
We are seeking a talented and driven Ruby on Rails Developer to contribute to our team.

You will report to a Lead Backend Engineer and your responsibilities will include designing and developing robust, scalable, and maintainable Ruby on Rails applications; fostering a positive atmosphere for your colleagues, sharing knowledge, and supporting team growth; collaborating with designers and stakeholders to comprehend business objectives, analyze requirements, and propose technical solutions.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Ruby Developer, ideally working on mid to large-scale web applications using Ruby on Rails;
  • Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID design principles, and design patterns;
  • Proficient in relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch);
  • Experience in Unit, Integration, and Acceptance testing with RSpec and Capybara;
  • Familiarity with GitHub and a solid grasp of Git core concepts;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
Additional Assets
  • Experience with payment, billing, and invoicing systems;
  • Contributions to side projects or open-source initiatives (please share via GitHub link);
  • Skills in continuous integration and deployment;
  • Experience in SaaS development and RESTful API design;
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript;
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker;
Work Environment
At iubenda, we embrace a fully remote work culture. You are free to work from anywhere in the world. However, if you prefer an office setting, we have locations available to support a hybrid work model.
