At Jma Wireless, we are committed to creating a safe and healthy work environment for our employees. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Castel San Pietro Terme, Italy.
Responsibilities:- Conduct regular safety and environmental audits to identify potential hazards and develop corrective action plans to mitigate them.
- Develop and maintain Job Safety Assessments (JSA's) to ensure that all employees are aware of the potential hazards associated with their job tasks.
- Facilitate change to behavior-based safety by working with management, supervisors, and line leaders to promote a safety-first culture.
- Identify and assess environmental aspects and impacts, and develop strategies to minimize their impact on the environment.
- Coordinate employee safety and environmental training, including orientation, pallet jack, forklift, overhead crane, and other specialized training.
- Serve as the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Management Representative, reporting to top management on system performance and recommending improvements.
- Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and requirements to improve safety and environmental practices.
- Manage ISO 14001 certification, including document updates and annual required training.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a safety-related field or minimum of five years' experience actively running a safety program in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of RSPP duty qualified.
- Previous experience with ISO 45001 is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
- Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak in both Italian and English.
