Job Overview

Burberry Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Production to join our team in Turin, Italy. As a key member of our production management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process of all product categories, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining collaboration with subcontractors and supporting facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the production process of all product categories, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining collaboration with subcontractors and supporting facilities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external departments, particularly with the central Sourcing team based in the UK.
  • Provide technical assistance to external departments during all production phases, from development to production.
  • Coordinate production offices in relation to production launches, maintaining the timing set during the planning phase.
  • Process price lists from the prototype phase to production, ensuring compliance with company margins.
  • Negotiate costs with subcontractors during the sampling and production phases.
  • Monitor and manage production and cutting teams' efficiency, ensuring optimal workload and priorities.
Requirements
  • High technical knowledge of production phases, consolidated over many years in the luxury fashion industry.
  • Strong ability to manage seasonal peak moments and negotiate with subcontractors.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with main production planning tools, including Excel.
