Campari Group, a leading player in the global branded spirits industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Plant Controller to join its European Financial Planning & Analysis organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the sustainable profitability of the Novi Ligure plant, in line with group policies and practices. This will involve supporting the local management in planning and monitoring costs and results, providing financial advice, and performing ad hoc analysis with a focus on continuous improvement and cost containment.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Defining and managing the financial plant forecasts (Budget, Revised Budget) in collaboration with each team leader from the different departments in the site.
  • Preparing and executing the required month-end closing activities.
  • Developing and maintaining a loss tree analysis at plant level and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating to define clear accountabilities and responsibilities within the plant management.
  • Contributing to the plant's continuous improvement process, supporting SC functions.
  • MAPPING RELEVANT PRODUCTIVITY INITIATIVES, DEALING WITH SC TO MAKE IT SUSTAINABLE.
  • Elaborating periodic reporting and statistics for Plant Director and Regional/Group Stakeholders.
  • Spreading a controlling rather than an accounting mindset through the plant management to support decision-making.
  • Variance analysis vs targets, collaborating to identify root causes of deviations and monitoring corrective actions status.
  • Process mapping and end-to-end impact analysis from COGP perspective.
  • Supporting the development of economic and operational analyses contributing to decision-making processes.
  • Asset management control; financial evaluation of capital expenditure projects.
  • Management of administrative tasks/services of the plant within SAP environment.
  • Business cases design and evaluation.
  • Suggesting improvement actions on plant management processes and organizational procedures.
  • Ensuring regular information flows between Plant and Administration functions.
  • Evaluating all plant transactions according to accounting procedures.
  • Contributing to various key projects as the FP&A representative.
  • Planning & Analysis experience within Finance & Controlling departments;
  • Must be familiar with working in a matrix organization.
  • Experience in working on challenging projects.
  • Degree in Economics or Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP (focus on MM, CO, PP, PM modules) and BW.
  • PowerBi knowledge is a plus.

Candidates must possess a strong analytical approach with deep economic and financial knowledge, as well as excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to act as a leader to address colleagues and stakeholders to achieve targets and go the extra mile is essential.
