Join the Campari Group team as a Senior Plant Controller and take on a key role in the European Financial Planning & Analysis organization. As a Senior Plant Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the sustainable profitability of the Novi Ligure plant, in compliance with group policies and practices. You will support the local management in planning and monitoring costs and results, providing them with financial advice and performing ad hoc analysis with a focus on continuous improvement and cost containment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Definition and management of the financial plant forecasts (Budget, Revised Budget) in collaboration with the SC Europe FP&A Management and the Plant Director.
  • Preparation and execution of required month-end closing activities.
  • Development and maintenance of a loss tree analysis at plant level and identification of areas to be addressed.
  • Collaboration with the plant management to define clear accountabilities and responsibilities.
  • Contribution to the plant continuous improvement process, supporting SC functions.
  • Mapping of relevant productivity initiatives, in collaboration with SC to make them sustainable.
  • Elaboration of periodic reporting and statistics for the Plant Director and Regional/Group Stakeholders.
  • Spread of a controlling rather than an accounting mindset through the plant management to support decision-making processes.
  • Variance analysis vs targets, collaborating to identify the root causes of deviations and monitoring corrective actions status.
  • Process mapping and end-to-end impact analysis from COGP perspective.
  • Support to the development of economic and operational analyses contributing to decision-making processes.
  • Asset management control; financial evaluation of capital expenditure projects.
  • Management of administrative tasks/services of the plant within SAP environment.
  • Business cases design and evaluation.
  • Suggestion of improvement actions on plant management processes and organizational procedures.
  • Ensuring regular information flows between Plant and Administration functions.
  • Evaluation of all plant transactions according to accounting procedures.
  • Contribution to various key projects as the FP&A representative.

Requirements:

  • Planning & Analysis experience within Finance & Controlling departments.
  • Familiarity with working in a matrix organization.
  • Experience in working on challenging projects.
  • Degree in Economics or Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP (focus on MM, CO, PP, PM modules) and BW.
  • PowerBi knowledge is a plus.
