About the Role

This position reports to the Global Category Manager and is part of the Electrification business area in Vittuone. As a Strategic Sourcing Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of regional/global sourcing strategies in close alignment with the global Category leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate agreements with main suppliers and periodically renew pricelists, terms, and conditions.
  • Run benchmark studies for the category team and for specific sourcing initiatives.
  • Create local contract amendments to frame agreements on behalf of a country and update/maintain frame contracts.
  • Support regional/global sourcing initiatives within a defined set of categories, working closely with key stakeholders to implement regional category strategies.
  • On-board new suppliers in close collaboration with the respective local buyer and run regular supplier evaluations and provide supplier reports to Businesses and Category Managers.
  • Foster communication internally, externally, and between different Divisions, Business Units, and Functions and support the implementation of PL activities and initiatives in the Region/Country through clear communication.

Requirements

  • Highly skilled in team working and flexibility.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of Office suite, Teams, and PowerBI.
  • Degree in Management or Mechanical Engineering, Economy, STEM.
  • At ease communicating in Italian and English both written and spoken.
