Position Overview

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A. in the capacity of Project Planning. This role is essential for overseeing Planning & Control functions within our Grid Integration business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish baseline criteria for planning and scheduling workloads associated with various engineering initiatives.
  • Generate status reports on project planning and scheduling, providing recommendations for corrective actions as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough preplanning to assess the scope of work, including work breakdown structures, engineering quality, financial commitments, and responsibilities to effectively manage planning and scheduling tasks.
  • Collaborate with external partners to ensure the feasibility and realism of project plans; evaluate progress information from third-party contractors.
  • Develop schedules for commissioning and project startup phases.
  • Support the project control team in creating a project performance index.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, or a relevant technical field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in similar project planning roles.
  • Proficient in both Italian and English.
  • Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach are essential.
  • Familiarity with SAP software is considered an advantage.
