Job Summary

We are looking for a Financial Operations Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

The Financial Operations Director will ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and statutory reporting requirements. They will develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and conduct rolling forecasts and variance analyses to provide actionable insights into financial performance.

The Financial Operations Director will design and enforce a robust internal control framework to mitigate risks and safeguard organizational assets. They will provide detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends, recommending corrective actions as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Develop and manage annual budgets
  • Conduct rolling forecasts and variance analyses
  • Design and enforce a robust internal control framework
  • Provide detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CFA designation preferred)
  • Extensive experience in financial management with a proven track record in a senior finance role
  • Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting, ensuring compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory standards
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, cash flow management, and risk management, with the ability to drive strategic decision-making
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls, taxation, compliance, and ERP systems to optimize financial operations
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP platforms and Excel
