Senior Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Manager to oversee the entire plant production at our location in Desio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and budgeting, as well as understanding and presenting financial data.
Main Responsibilities:- Production Leadership: Lead, coordinate, coach, and grow the production team leaders, shift leaders, and operators.
- Production Scheduling: Verify execution of production schedules and implement corrections as necessary.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure production activities meet goals in terms of adherence to cycle time, scrap, and waste. Maintain constant relationship with other company functions, such as Logistics, Quality, Maintenance, and Technical Services.
- Team Development: Develop team performance and skills through training and motivation.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote Continuous Improvement through the application of lean production.
- University Degree in Engineering, Management Engineering, or similar.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role managing production departments and related functions.
- Excellent leadership and team development skills.
- JIT and/or JIS production experience mandatory.
- Solid understanding of financial data, P&L exposure, and good user of MS Excel.
- Automotive supplier manufacturing experience.
- Good knowledge in health and safety issues.
- Good knowledge of Lean Production principles.
- Fluent Italian and English.
