Job Description

Our client, a leading international company in the production of rotating electric machines, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electric Motor Engineer to join their EMEA Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new product variants and strengthening the company's market position.

Main Responsibilities
  • Realize technical documentation and drawings for rotating electric machines.
  • Propose innovative ideas for new developments and product modifications to improve competitiveness.
  • Define technical solutions for new developments or product modifications in collaboration with the Project Team.
  • Manage design changes and new developments from a technical perspective.
  • Understand product systems and interactions between components.
  • Understand customer technical needs.
  • Support Manufacturing, Sales, and Service/Quality departments on product-specific issues.
  • Coordinate with Electric Engineering Global organization concerning motor design.
  • Lead analysis of products from main competitors.
  • Verify conformity to standards, directives, or legal requirements of products.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Over 5 years of experience in electric motor design in Engineering or RD Department.
  • Capacity to calculate and specify electric motor windings.
  • Passion and skills for technical matters and product design.
  • Precision, reliability, and organization skills.
  • Good communication and team building skills.
  • Good problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of English.
  • Knowledge of basic MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Work Location: Province of Vicenza. 5 smart working days per month.
