About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Transformation Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Account and Professional Services Go-To-Market teams, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing complex data analytics solutions on the AWS platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and execute a strategy to accelerate customer outcomes through the adoption of AWS in conjunction with Professional Services engagements.
  • Ensure success by unlocking the value of data and analytics services on the AWS platform.
  • Partner with senior executives, dive deep into their business objectives, and develop new products using the latest advancements in cloud technology.
  • Run pre-sales architectural discussions and design workshops with customers to understand their technical requirements deeply and translate them into a compelling business case.
  • Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
  • Act as a technical liaison between Customers, Account teams, ProServe, and support.
Requirements
  • Multiple years of experience designing, implementing, and consulting with distributed applications.
  • Broad-based understanding of cloud platform services, cloud-native architectures, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Relevant experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting.
  • Industry experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Financial Services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Practical knowledge of Agile project management and software development methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud and/or operating solutions built on AWS.
  • Expertise in DevOps, Big Data, Machine Learning, or Serverless Computing.
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
