Our team in Rome is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Signalling Systems team. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support to maintenance activities on Railway Signalling Systems operated by our domestic and international customers.

The main purpose of this role is to manage warranty obligations on projects within the scope of Alstom, while also coordinating and supporting maintenance technicians on site or remotely. You will be responsible for defining and implementing maintenance and technical assistance plans, as well as providing performance and log analysis.

You will work closely with other Alstom functions, including System and Product, Application Engineering, Industrialization, and Supply Chain departments, as well as external relationships with customer infrastructure operators and maintenance technicians.

The position requires a strong background in electronics engineering, with excellent knowledge of electronic design principles and methodologies. You should have experience with test tools, such as oscilloscopes, wave generators, and multimeters, and be proficient in common operating systems, including Unix and MS-Windows.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electric, or Telecommunications Engineering is required, along with fluency in English and Italian. Knowledge of French is a plus but not mandatory.
