Job Summary

The Bosch Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Export Control Officer to join our team. As an Export Control Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with export control regulations and implementing effective export control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Policy Implementation and Execution: Develop and implement export control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Compliance with Export Control Regulations: Monitor and ensure compliance with export control regulations, including the implementation of Global Standards and Procedures.
  • Process Implementation and Monitoring: Implement and monitor globally defined processes to regional/local level, as required.
  • National Export Control Law Changes: Monitor changes to national export control laws and adjust standard processes accordingly.
  • Local Project and Process Execution: Execute local projects and processes, including the supervision of export control procedures.
  • Employee Instructions and Training: Issue instructions to employees involved in the shipping process and ensure they are trained on export control procedures.
  • Operational Tasks and Export Control Classification: Ensure operational tasks are performed in accordance with policy and classify exports based on US, EU, and national law.
  • Export Control License Determination and Application: Determine and apply for export control licenses, as required.
  • Export Control Checks and Local License Application: Conduct export control checks based on locally applicable laws and apply for local export control licenses.
  • Business Activity Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor business activities and daily trade operations, and report to local authorities and contact persons in case of audits.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree in Law or Economics.
  • Personality and Skills: Leadership and collaboration skills, result orientation, and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience and Knowledge: Technical knowledge in export control and sanctions compliance, and professional experience in foreign trade.
  • Qualifications and Certifications: Demonstrated knowledge of export controls, including export control classification, and willingness to continuously inform of current legislations and adjust processes accordingly.
  • Nice to Have: Experience with ERP systems like SAP GTS.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and Italian.
