About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commis de Bar to join our team at the Grand Hotel Timeo, a luxury hotel located in Taormina, Italy. As a Commis de Bar, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that their experience is nothing short of unforgettable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Bar Operations: Assist with the setup, mise en place, and cleaning of the bar area, ensuring that it is always presented in a high standard.
  • Monitor Guest Experience: Monitor all aspects of the guests' experience, from the restaurant layout before their arrival to the experience they receive during the service.
  • Enhance Service: Act to enhance a flawless service and anticipate guests' needs, ensuring that their expectations are consistently met.
  • Support Bartenders: Support bartenders with the service, ensuring that drinks are prepared and served to the highest standard.
  • Establish Relationships: Establish and maintain good relationships with all guests, handling requests and enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Effective Communication: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
