About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Luxury Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Belmond. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading the Rooms Division and ensuring the highest standards of service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Rooms Division team and departments to achieve operational excellence and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality, efficiency, and revenue growth.
  • Manage and motivate a team of Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, and Laundry staff to achieve their full potential.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring that all departments operate within budgeted guidelines.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and sustainability practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, colleagues, and external partners.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role in luxury hospitality, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional service, driving revenue growth, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, with a strong understanding of luxury service techniques and trends.
  • Knowledge of revenue management, PMS, and reservations systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
