The Opportunity

As a Field Technical Engineer within our Electrophysiology (EP) team, you'll provide expert support and guidance on the use of our EP portfolio within your assigned territory. Your expertise will help healthcare professionals navigate the complexities of electrophysiological procedures and optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Offer expert clinical consultation, teaching, and support on the use of our EP products and their appropriate application during electrophysiological procedures in the hospital (catheter laboratory).
2. Stay up-to-date on the latest technical knowledge of current and new therapies and technologies within the therapy area, including competitor devices, and maintain a general understanding of the country's healthcare market dynamics.
3. Resolve common customer problems and respond to unexpected customer requests with a sense of urgency and positive action.
4. Provide technical support to the EP salesforce, proactively communicating information and discussing product placement and complex case support with the sales team.
5. Understand the business priorities of internal and external clients, awareness of sales targets and trends, marketing messaging, and describe desired or actual business results in measurable scales or terms.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or science-related field or equivalent.
2. Ideal experience in electrophysiology/cardiac rhythm management or an equivalent role within the industry.
3. Familiarity with catheter lab and operating room procedures and protocol, as well as strong cardiac anatomy & physiology knowledge.
4. Strong communication skills with active listening and questioning techniques.
5. A willingness to travel 75% of the time and ability to work autonomously, adapting to procedures' duration and coping with irregular/uneven work days.
