About the Role
This esteemed international brokerage firm, Capstone Search Group, is seeking a highly skilled and entrepreneurial associate to join their team. As a leading player in the industry, they are poised for continued growth and success. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bringing expertise in absence management and leave administration to drive business excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Serve as a subject matter expert on employee leaves of absence, including Short Term Disability, FMLA, Long Term Disability, Unpaid leaves, and state/city-specific leaves
• Process incoming notifications regarding leaves of absence, providing prompt and accurate customer service
• Utilize tools to maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and union specific leave policies
• Provide employees and managers with information and assistance regarding potential leaves
• Coordinate leaves with Short Term Disability vendors and Workers' Compensation claims teams to properly administer concurrent leaves
• Update employee records in the HR/Payroll system as necessary
• Identify trends and make recommendations for continuous process improvements to management
Skills & Experience
• Associate's degree required
• 2-5 years of experience working specifically with absence management and leave administration
• Knowledge of FMLA regulations and requirements and ADA is highly desired
• In-depth experience with HR and Payroll systems strongly preferred
Compensation, Benefits, & Perks
$55k to $70k + benefits package + ability to work from home/remote
