Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Supervisor to join our team at Danaher Corporation. As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) in our manufacturing work cells and laboratories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Quality Control personnel in the development and implementation of quality control processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to develop, qualify, and transfer control material qualification processes.
  • Ensure the maintenance of QC equipment, including qualification, calibration, and maintenance.
  • Investigate failures during quality control testing, perform troubleshooting, process development, and improvement activities.
  • Analyze complex information to develop strategies and plans consistent with the evidence collected.
  • Coach team members on leveraging individual differences and strengths to optimize decision-making and develop solutions.
  • Set and execute balanced goals for the team that are challenging and aspirational.
Requirements
  • High school degree with 8+ years of related experience OR
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of laboratory experience, OR
  • Master's degree with 3+ years of laboratory experience.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience with analytical methods and Microbiology testing.
  • Ability to manage changing conditions, processes, and approaches, and lead organizations through change effectively.
  • Track record of measurable, operational improvements to Quality Systems related functions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Quality Control Laboratory Operations
  • Experience in Manufacturing Operations
  • Experience with molecular diagnostics
