Role Overview

The Molecular Account Executive is responsible for managing and expanding molecular activities for assigned customers in the defined country territory. This role includes acting as an advisor/consultant to customers and is responsible for retention and value expansion with both existing and potential new accounts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • New business acquisition and expansion of molecular activities for assigned customers
  • Renewals of expiring contracts or new tenders issued by existing customers, including price negotiations
  • Establishing value propositions and building business cases to drive customer growth and retention
  • Post-sale involvement with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Developing broad relationships with key molecular lab stakeholders, including decision-making units, clinicians, and purchasing departments
  • Serving customer requests and forwarding them to the respective Service department for technical and application questions
  • Acting as an advisor/consultant to customers on lab productivity, use, and/or design
  • Maintaining active engagement in the CRM system, keeping customer data up to date, reporting activities and market data
  • Serving as the single point of contact that responds to customers promptly
