Join Our Team as a Service Business Controller in Eastern Europe

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Business Controller to join our team in Eastern Europe. As a trusted business partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic and evolving Service division at KONE.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Business partnering with a strong outside-in mindset, understanding the business logic and dependencies between key operational processes, relationships, and metrics.
  • Acting as a finance business partner to the Service business line, providing actionable management insight and guiding commercial decisions toward profitable growth.
  • Going beyond standard actuals understanding toward forward-looking business development to influence business stakeholders in decision-making covering pricing and productivity.
  • Cooperating with local finance, supporting performing classic controlling activities such as budgeting, on-time and quality month-end closing, actual results reporting (e.g., Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, etc.), and forecast preparation incl. variance analysis.
  • Continuing process improvement and simplification combined with tasks automation across 16 countries.
  • Supporting strategic and long-term planning for the business line.
  • Providing advice and support to the finance and business community on reporting and accounting matters.
What We Expect:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Self-motivated and result-driven personality with project management skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive improvement in processes incl. effective communication is a must.
  • Sound business acumen, demonstrating the ability to combine the key commercial and financial drivers with understanding of core business opportunities & limitations.
