Key Responsibilities- Lead a High-Performing Team: You will be responsible for managing a team of operations professionals who are responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our Fulfilment Centres.
- Drive Operational Excellence: You will be responsible for analysing and implementing process improvements to drive productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with other teams, including management-level colleagues, to standardise shift practices and drive operational excellence.
- Develop and Implement Safety and Wellbeing Initiatives: You will be responsible for creating and implementing a culture of safety and wellbeing within your team.
As an Area Manager, you will work on a shift pattern at one of our Fulfilment Centres, ensuring that it is running as efficiently as possible. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety and uphold quality and shift performance standards. You will also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation.
About the TeamThe Customer Fulfilment team is the backbone of Amazon's operations. We are a dynamic and fast-paced team that is responsible for handling over 1.5 million orders every day.
