About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our team at the Air Force Institute Of Technology. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IT project management principles, methods, and tools to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor and inspect cost, work, and contractor performance to ensure quality of work and adherence to project timelines.
  • Manage a cybersecurity program to ensure the organization's security design is met and maintained.
  • Lead initiatives and monitor the execution of functions involving military construction (MILCON) requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
  • Experience in overseeing IT project management principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects.
  • Experience in monitoring and inspecting cost, work, and contractor performance to ensure quality of work.
  • Experience in managing a cybersecurity program to ensure an organization's security design is met.
  • Experience in leading initiatives and monitoring the execution of functions involving military construction (MILCON) requirements.
