About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aftersales Specialist to join our Technical Support department at Atlas Copco. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the reputation of our products by ensuring quality, reliability, and serviceability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective service support to our customer centers, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of technical issues.
  • Continuously improve product quality by analyzing warranty reports, participating in technical committee meetings, and contributing to product quality meetings.
  • Develop and disseminate service bulletins and updates to customer centers, ensuring they are informed about product improvements and necessary actions.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure the highest level of serviceability and lowest lifecycle cost, participating in project team meetings and providing input on product design.
  • Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date service information, developing documentation, service kits, and tools to enhance serviceability.
  • Design and deliver technical training programs in conjunction with our competence development group, ensuring our team members have the necessary skills to provide exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Engineering background is mandatory, with a strong understanding of product design and development.
  • Technical knowledge of compressors, dryers, and compressed air ancillaries is essential.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to travel frequently, with a minimum of 30 days per year, to meet with customers and stakeholders.
