Objective:
To establish and uphold the Product Assurance (PA) protocols that ensure the safety and effectiveness of missions by confirming that products, including materials, mechanical components, and electrical systems, comply with industry standards and all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining the PA requirements baseline and generating the necessary documentation in accordance with ECSS Product Assurance standards or comparable aerospace industry standards for designated programs;
- Collaborating with clients and subject matter experts on all PA and quality-related matters;
- Assisting in the selection, procurement, monitoring, and qualification of Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) components while ensuring adherence to applicable standards;
- Contributing to the selection of materials and processes, participating in reviews, and preparing all related documentation such as Process Verification Plans, Mounting Verification Plans, Qualification Plans, and Manufacturing Flow Charts;
- Managing and addressing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), waivers, deviations, and alerts;
- Executing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Management Improvement Plans (MIPs);
- Overseeing supplier and internal audits;
- Participating in program milestones (e.g., Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review) and production reviews;
- Coordinating and conducting incoming inspections as required;
- Providing support to operations and monitoring manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Engineering, ideally in aerospace, mechanical, electronics, or telecommunications;
- Strong understanding of ECSS Standards;
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or EN 9100 is advantageous.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years in the Space and Defence sector is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in NCR management tools (e.g., NCTS, NC-CAPA, Eclipse or similar);
- Experience with SAP or similar systems is a plus.
Language Proficiency:
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
