About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Climate Change Managing Consultant to join our Sustainability and Climate Solutions team in Italy. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in assisting organisations in their journey towards achieving net-zero emissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to help clients reduce their emissions and contribute to a more sustainable future.
  • Lead the analysis of carbon emissions from multiple perspectives, including understanding carbon emissions impact, target setting, and developing emissions reduction roadmaps.
  • Support clients in implementing Net Zero strategies and ensuring that outputs enable them to meet assessment and disclosure needs.
  • Oversee the preparation of reports, workshop materials, presentations, and technical summaries, including managing project delivery of more junior members of staff.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in environmental engineering, industrial engineering, environmental science, or environmental discipline such as environmental management, sustainability, or climate change.
  • Four to six years of experience in environmental management and sustainability-related services with deep knowledge of environmental regulations.
  • Experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (strategy and reporting), project management, and generating revenues.
  • Knowledge in double materiality assessment, LCA, SBTi, and Decarbonisation plans in a range of industries.
  • Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills.

We will offer the opportunity to act as a project manager, acting as the focal point for our work with clients, particularly across corporate sectors. You will work in collaboration with a Partner in Charge, acting as the day-to-day contact and coordinator of our work, leading teams and delivering proposals and project deliverables to clients.
