Production Planner Role at EssilorLuxottica

We are seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our team at EssilorLuxottica, a global leader in ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses. As a Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in scheduling production, managing material availability, and collaborating with suppliers to meet market demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule production based on material availability and production department needs.
  • Define production targets on a weekly and daily basis with production departments.
  • Set priorities and timings to fill market requests.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to guarantee raw material and finished component availability.
  • Monitor production process and provide support in case of rescheduling due to production or quality issues.
  • Develop new tools and methods to give visibility to production, logistics, procurement, and other departments.
  • Support logistics, NPI, quality, and production departments with analysis and priority setting.
  • Track key performance indicators such as backorder, NPI, OEE, and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree.
  • 2-3 years of experience.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access), SAP, and Power BI.
