Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team at Edp Energias De Portugal S.A. The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of Solar PV and Onshore Wind Farms projects, from investment memo to commercial operation date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation of construction projects from investment memo to start of construction, including CapEx estimation and planning.
  • Plan and execute the construction of projects from start of construction to commercial operation date, ensuring compliance with company business plan and EU&BR E&C Department requirements.
  • Manage the handover of projects from construction to operation and maintenance, ensuring compliance with company processes and procedures.
  • Provide technical support during due diligence processes and engineering development phase.
  • Contribute to the definition and improvement of construction vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to seek construction excellence and boost performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably in electrical or civil works or similar.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction of onshore wind farms, solar PV, substations, and high-voltage lines.
  • Relevant experience in construction of other renewable or equivalent projects in the power sector is a plus.
