About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Assistant to join our People Experience and Technology (PXT) team at Amazon. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional associate experience and supporting our Customer Service associates in their daily work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR support to our Customer Service associates, responding to questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Escalate discrepancies or issues arising from associate interactions, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Enter and review associate data within HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to associates and leadership on people practices, systems, and resources.
  • Compile and analyze data on critical business metrics, such as attendance, attrition, engagement, and labor fill.
  • Advocate for the employee experience by partnering with leaders, partners, and core teams to provide world-class service to Amazon associates.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement associate activities that foster an inclusive environment.
  • Assist managers in responding to associate questions regarding time/attendance, pay, benefits, policies, and accommodations.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in HR, Employee Relations, or Payroll.
  • Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English.
  • Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
  • 1+ years of exposure to Human Resources functions.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and associate issues.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and basic formulas.
  • Human Resources or Customer Service training and experience, including outstanding interpersonal skills and patience.
  • An Associate's degree from an accredited college.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
