About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our Global Innovation Development & Design Team based in Alba, Italy. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for designing special equipment and machinery, from analysis to installation phases in our plants.

Your primary focus will be on coordinating external studies, preparing detailed technical project preparations, and ensuring the coherence of the project. You will also be responsible for finding innovative solutions to meet project specifications and promoting the continuous improvement of existing plants.

You will work closely with various stakeholders, including internal departments and external suppliers, to ensure the successful completion of projects. A strong understanding of mechanical design and engineering principles, combined with proficiency in CAD software, is essential for this role.

We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with around 1-3 years of experience in machinery design for the Food, FMCG, Automation, or Automotive sector. Strong communication skills, both in Italian and English, are also required.

If you have experience in project management activities, such as budgeting, scheduling, quality assurance, safety, and environmental compliance, it will be a plus. However, we are happy to train the right candidate.
