SOC Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled SOC Security Analyst to join our team at 3250 Kyndryl Italia Innovation Services S.R.L. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing and responding to security threats from various sources, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and respond to security threats in a timely manner, adhering to documented SLAs.
- Document actions in cases to effectively communicate information to internal stakeholders and for historical retrieval.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and security practices.
- Resolve problems independently and understand escalation procedures.
- Conduct security monitoring activities to provide visibility into potential threats.
- Participate in security incidents and act as a technical subject matter expert.
- Utilize analytics to identify potential threats and detect, respond, mitigate, and report on cyber threats/incidents.
- Collaborate with technical leads on security monitoring across the global footprint.
- Conduct operations surrounding cybersecurity incident response technologies.
- Assist in development and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Assist in security console tuning.
- Identify and share threat intelligence that impacts Kyndryl and their customers or products.
- Perform threat hunts that target adversary TTPs.
- 4+ years of security operations/engineering experience.
- Fluent in English.
- Advanced knowledge of threat monitoring capabilities, network security, SIEM, SOAR, CTI platforms, OS, network protocols, and scripting experience with Bash or Python.
