We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Innovation and Intellectual Property Manager to join our team at MBDA Italy. As a key member of our Technology & Performance Directorate, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and technology advancements across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement IP awareness and protection strategies to safeguard MBDA's intellectual property
- Manage and coordinate IP activities, including patent filing, licensing, and contract negotiations
- Support the head of Internal Research and Development (IRAD) programmes Italy in defining, managing, and delivering multi-national IRAD Strategic Technology Programmes
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure accurate targeting and prioritization of MBDA's investments in technologies and future products
- Contribute to complex negotiations and develop cooperation/partnership with external innovation ecosystems critical for the development of new technologies, products, and operations
- Master's degree in STEM disciplines with a qualification in Intellectual Property/Patenting
- Knowledge of IP, Patents, Trade Marks, Trade Secrets, and related concepts
- Ability to understand and analyze inventions to formulate recommendations on Intellectual Property protection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on networking and developing great relationships internally and externally
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive, open, and curious mindset
