The Role

As a Data Protection Intern, you will engage in transformative projects and acquire practical experience in a vibrant field. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about data privacy and keen to enhance their skills in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will assist the Data Protection Officer with various tasks, including:

  • Overseeing the company's data protection framework (e.g., policies, processing activity registers, privacy statements, Data Protection Impact Assessments, etc.)
  • Managing Data Subject Requests
  • Conducting compliance checks
  • Facilitating training and awareness programs
  • Performing legal research
  • Engaging in reporting activities

Ideal Candidate Profile

We seek innovative thinkers who can inspire positive change and demonstrate a proactive approach. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A solid understanding of data protection legislation (Master's degree in Law/Economics; recognized certification in data protection or information security)
  • The ability to engage proactively with colleagues globally
  • A strong motivation and enthusiasm for Data Protection and Technology Law
  • Proficiency in English and Italian
  • Previous experience in data protection compliance is advantageous
  • Familiarity with OneTrust Privacy tool is a plus
