Job Title: Testing Center Assistant

Job Summary:

Gateway Community and Technical College is seeking a part-time Testing Center Assistant to support the daily operations of the Testing Center. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the check-in process for students and staff
  • Greet candidates and provide a welcoming environment
  • Check in candidates and ensure they have the necessary materials
  • Perform general office duties, including data entry, copying, and filing
  • Stock office supplies and maintain testing rooms
  • Run errands and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Basic Microsoft Suite experience
  • Dependable and able to maintain a work schedule
  • Good communication skills
  • Organized and able to work with individuals and groups
  • Able to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

The Federal Work-Study Program provides funding for part-time employment to qualifying students. If you have unmet financial need as determined by the most recent FAFSA, are enrolled at least half-time at Gateway, and have a GPA of at least 2.0, you may be eligible for FWS.

KY law requires state and national pre-employment background checks as a condition of employment.
