Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Banquets Coordinator to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing banquets and events with precision and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
• Consistently provide professional, engaging, and friendly service to our guests and colleagues.
• Assist in implementing a comprehensive and result-driven banquets plan that aligns with our strategic vision.
• Coordinate and communicate with other departments regarding food and beverage requests and projects.
• Submit and/or coordinate requisitions for goods and services in banquets operations.
• Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and update status reports, agendas, and facility updates.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
• At least 1 year of administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and handle assignments in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate in English in both written and oral forms.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Preferred degree in Hotel Administration, Communication, Business Administration, or Culinary Arts.
