About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for managing the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage efficiency and OEE KPIs to ensure optimal production levels
- Develop and implement production programs to meet quality and productivity targets
- Monitor and control quality KPIs to ensure high-quality products
- Apply delegation mechanisms to optimize production processes
- Ensure the quality of parts produced in the manufacturing department
- Analyze indicators related to auxiliary materials costs to optimize production
- Apply advanced knowledge of work cycles and methods to improve production efficiency
- Contribute to the definition of the surface treatment area budget
- Apply knowledge of specific procedures and organizational references to manage environmental emergencies
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in complex environments as Manufacturing Engineer, Production Manager, Operation Manager, Unit Manager or similar roles
- Knowledge of main mechanical and chemical processes
- Project Management and Lean Production skills
- Knowledge of productive and non-productive KPIs of a business unit
- Fluent in English
- Reporting skills
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong People Management skills
- Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment
