We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to assume the role of Team Leader in the Calabria Region. In this position, you will collaborate with fellow technicians to perform routine and specialized maintenance, troubleshoot issues within wind turbines, and oversee on-site operations for your team.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will engage in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for wind turbine generators. The role entails approximately 80% technical responsibilities, alongside 20% administrative tasks. A strong willingness to learn about electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems is essential, as you will oversee the overall maintenance of the turbines.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Executing routine and emergency maintenance on electrical and electronic components of turbines.
  • Diagnosing faults in electronic and electrical systems using specific schematics and automated control systems.
  • Identifying issues, performing repairs, and replacing necessary components.
  • Supervising, managing, and motivating team members while ensuring adherence to company HSE and quality standards.
  • Acting as the liaison between team members and the organization.
  • Proactively ensuring efficient team operations and leading by example.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating minor corrections and spare parts requests in alignment with planning.
  • Managing local service bases and shared tools.
  • Overseeing waste management and compliance with disposal regulations.
  • Conducting site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Maintaining vehicles and equipment, including monthly inspection reports.
  • Preparing and updating tools inventory.
  • Collaborating with local site management as needed.
  • Reviewing and approving work reports and material usage.
  • Ensuring compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Providing technical support to the team and liaising with technical support when necessary.

Qualifications

A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to leading change are essential. Candidates should possess a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the electrical or mechanical industry, with troubleshooting expertise. Experience in the wind energy sector is advantageous.

The role requires the ability to work at heights, a valid driving license, and flexibility to travel across various locations. Basic proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is necessary for documentation and communication purposes. This position does not offer remote work options and includes on-call duties.
