Capital Projects Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Project Manager to join our team in Italy. This role will be based in Aliaxis Zola Predosa and report to the Engineering Manager Italy.

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of CAPEX projects for the development of different sites, ensuring delivery quality and alignment with internal customers (Manufacturing / Supply chain / Administration). The candidate will work closely with external parties (engineering services and suppliers).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects along the full life cycle, ensuring timely, within-budget, and safe delivery.
• Define project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Develop Cost & Schedule Estimates and detailed project plans to schedule key project milestones, workstreams, and activities.
• Ensure the flawless execution of projects through direct supervision and/or coordination of third parties/vendors.
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
• Frequently update project progress to stakeholders.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications.

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

• Bachelor's/master's degree in mechanical, industrial, or management engineering.
• 5+ years of solid experience in similar roles, with a proven record of experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Experience with coordinating and leading capex projects in production/manufacturing environments, through the full life cycle.
• Previous experience in the plastic industry and/or extrusion or injection molding processes is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand company processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player, ability to convince and persuade, and conflict resolution aptitude.
• Good communication skills, with local language and English proficiency.
• Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Solid MS Office skills.
• CAD professional knowledge and skills will be considered a plus.
• Strong software skills and ability to understand, analyze, and present data.
• Availability to travel to different Italian sites where projects are under development and/or execution is a must.
