Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consult. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling Food Ingredients to the Food and Beverage Industry in Italy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze the market and product range of our suppliers to identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and implement market strategies, purchasing, and sales plans for assigned product groups in Italy
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Visit customers, analyze their needs, and create value propositions
  • Participate in production trials at the customer site or implement small-scale trials in the application kitchen
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service Manager to manage projects
  • Align sales strategies with Category Managers and Country Manager
  • Participate in training programs, both internally and externally
  • Develop and execute sales budgets and forecasts
Requirements
  • Degree in Food Technology
  • Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • High willingness to travel
  • Organized, reliable, and positive thinking
  • Very good knowledge of Italian and English (fluent in spoken and written)
  • Valid driving license
